About Dr. Wehner

Dr. Sherry Wehner, MD — known to her patients as “Dr. Sherry” — is the Medical Director and owner of Anew You Medical Weight Loss & Total Wellness Center in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 25 years of medical experience. She is a board-certified pathologist — in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology, and Ultrasound-Guided Fine Needle Aspiration — and holds the Diploma of Dermatopathology from the International Society of Dermatopathologists, giving her a deep, tissue-level understanding of the skin and the immune reactions that drive allergic disease.

Her career began at Texas A&M Medical School and advanced through residency at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology. She went on to spend more than 15 years in dermatopathology as a partner in a San Antonio pathology laboratory before founding Anew You, where she personally oversees every service. Today she also holds board certifications in Medicine and Aesthetics from the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and has served since 2017 as a national trainer in Botox, fillers, PDO threads, and wellness medicine. She has taught for Empire Medical Training for nearly five years and built allergy testing and treatment into her own practice — the hands-on, real-world experience she brings to Empire's curriculum and to the allergy guides she medically reviews in the Anti-Aging & Functional Medicine Resource Center.

Dr. Wehner is a member of the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the College of American Pathologists, the International Society of Dermatopathology, and the Bexar County Medical Society.
