Maritza Mejia is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the owner and founder of LIBB by Maritza, a medical aesthetics practice located in Smithtown, New York. With over two decades of experience in healthcare—including critical care and ICU nursing—Maritza brings an exceptional blend of clinical expertise, precision, and artistry to the world of aesthetics.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Cum Laude from Stony Brook University, and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2023. Her deep medical knowledge and passion for education have also led her to serve as a faculty instructor at Empire Medical Training, where she mentors fellow aesthetic professionals.

At LIBB by Maritza, she specializes in natural, rejuvenating results using FDA-approved injectables, including dermal fillers, neurotoxins, biostimulators, and advanced skin treatments.
