About Lorena

Lorena Cosentino is a 19-year veteran of medical aesthetics and a driving force behind Empire Medical Training’s growth worldwide. Starting as an aesthetician inspired by the power of cosmetic medicine, she progressed from hands-on clinical work to educating thousands of physicians and nurses in both treatment techniques and practice management.

Recruited by Empire Medical Training in 2007, Lorena quickly became a lead facial-aesthetics instructor and later Executive Vice President, blending deep clinical expertise with savvy business strategy. To ground her teaching in real-world insight, she founded VIP Aesthetics—one of Florida’s most respected medical spas—personally overseeing marketing, team building, and patient care.

Lorena’s passion for integrating business and medicine led her, alongside her husband Dr. Stephen Cosentino, to co-create the American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM), which offers board certifications in Aesthetics, Anti-Aging, Pain Management, and Functional Medicine.

Now also Vice President of Business Development for Latin America, Lorena spearheads Empire’s global expansion, delivering gold-standard Spanish-language training and mentoring the next generation of aesthetic professionals. Her career exemplifies the power of combining clinical mastery, entrepreneurial thinking, and lifelong education.
