Botox Training and certification for physicians, nurses, dentists and other licensed healthcare professionals

This comprehensive 8-hour Botox training workshop (approved 8-hour AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™) is an intensive program providing live patient hands-on training and onsite testing for Certification in Facial Botox Cosmetic Injectables. Attendees will receive step-by-step instruction on how to prepare, administer, and incorporate Botox and other neurotoxin injections for aesthetic patients. This course is dedicated entirely to Botox and other neurotoxins, providing extensive details and valuable “aesthetic pearls” from industry-leading physician specialists and “celebrity” trainers, using all commercially available FDA-approved neurotoxins including Botox Cosmetic (Allergan), Xeomin® from Merz Pharma), Dysport® (Galderma), and Jeuveau® (Evolus).

Empire has been providing this level of training since 2002, when Allergan® first introduced its brand of neurotoxin.

For over 24 years, Empire Medical Training has remained the most sought-after teaching organization for medical and dental practitioners seeking the highest quality, most comprehensive, evidence-based, AMA-accredited Botox and Dermal Filler Training programs.

Nowhere in the U.S. will you find more intensive hands-on Botox Training than through Empire Medical Training. Empire is the nationwide leader with over 150,000 graduates, more than any other provider. We have perfected our proprietary teaching protocols to ensure each student receives a thorough education.

For practitioners interested in becoming certified in Cosmetic injectables using Botox and other neurotoxins, our complete 8-hour program with combined lecture and hands on training has become the gold standard. This program is highly recommended throughout the aesthetics industry as well as by Empire’s independent Physician Advisory Board (Physician Advisory Board comprised of plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and "preeminent" multi-specialty trained aesthetic physicians).

Botox and Dermal Filler Training: Empire has conveniently scheduled both injectable courses (Botox and Fillers) on the same day: Botox Hands-on Training in the morning, Dermal Fillers Hands-on Training in the afternoon. Those registering for both courses will receive an automatic $200 discount during checkout.

Prerequisite Neurotoxin Training: As part of our commitment to provide helpful content prior to the training, workshop registrants can access all prerequisite and preparatory course materials via Empire’s state-of-the-art educational portal. The portal includes all didactic materials, video presentations, and other vital information necessary for your practice, including treatment forms, consent forms, patient intake forms, before/after photos, and much more.

Additional helpful content is provided through our prerequisite coursework that must be completed prior to attending the live patient practice hands-on training. You may also choose the Empire-Virtual-Training™ and watch the "live" presentations on your mobile device, and chat directly with the physician instructors who will answer questions.

Live patient hands-on practice training is offered through live workshops (see full calendar), Centers of Excellence (see calendar), and custom preceptorships (call to schedule). The Neurotoxin Live Patient Practice Training is conducted in the morning. View our complete AGENDA with course details and start and finish times below.

Caution Regarding Botox Training: Practitioners who are new to aesthetics are strongly cautioned to avoid the many non-accredited, non-physician-instructed Botox programs offered by other companies because they do not meet the minimum standards required for aesthetic education and certification. Before investing in their education and career, practitioners should inquire about the qualifications of the instructors teaching the course. The best education begins with expert-level, helpful, physician-only instructors.

Play Button

To operate a successful aesthetic practice, it is important to understand the available products on the market and the differences between the uses of Botox and dermal filler cosmetic injections. Each of the FDA-approved options will be available and used during the hands-on portion of the class so you can decide for yourself which botulinum toxin product will best suit your practice objectives.

Course Didactics: The lecture portion of the training will cover each of the neurotoxin products in detail, including their usages, best practices, and decision-tree processes relating to your choice product and patient needs. Your physician instructors will provide in-depth training and invaluable content on Botox and other neurotoxin protocols, guidelines, and techniques; they will also share preferred methods utilized in their own respective practices.

Perform Botox Procedures Safely: Equally important in your training are the precautionary measures needed to ensure safe technique. We teach you how to treat unwanted side effects, poor outcomes, and worst-case scenarios related to more serious Botox adverse events and complications. Botox training instructors must be physicians — ideally plastic surgeons and other multi-specialty trained aesthetic physicians. That’s what Empire Medical Training delivers.

Facial Anatomy: The training incorporates highlights from Empire’s advanced Anatomical Facial Anatomy Training conducted at Columbia Medical University and other medical schools throughout the country. This training is invaluable in helping the attendee understand the anatomical structures involved when performing a facial injectable procedure such as with Botox or dermal fillers. This will be critical for any practitioner to master in order to perform safe, worry-free Botox injections.

Hands-On Training: Empire pioneered this kind of training over 24 years ago. As a result, we have secured relationships with the most renowned, expert physician specialists to train practitioners and share their wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Prominent instructors remain a hallmark to the quality education provided by Empire. Not only are they the very best aesthetic physicians in the industry, they’re also willing to share their proprietary methods for performing and creating the most desirable patient outcomes.

Unlike some seminars, our programs are not demonstration-only. In fact, you will be required to perform procedures under the direct supervision of an expert physician instructor in order to receive your certification. The hands-on sessions provide intensive training, where instructors will be carefully monitoring your technique and style of injecting to help improve upon your skills.

The workshop gives you the opportunity to use real botulinum toxin (Botox) products on actual live volunteers. All medicines and supplies needed in the training are provided as part of your tuition price (additional product is available for purchase if desired).

Attendees will practice injections on live volunteer patients until they gain a level of comfort and pass the oral proficiency exam.

Our objective is to give our members the best experience in education. We remain committed to ensuring our methods are safe, organized, and professional especially when it comes to any portion of the hands-on sessions. For more information, view our Hands-On Disclosure.
