Empire's Combination Therapies PDO course represents the frontier of non-surgical facial rejuvenation for physicians. Single-modality treatments deliver good results, but strategically combining PDO threads with complementary modalities produces outcomes that rival surgical intervention. This advanced program covers treatment sequencing science, synergistic protocol design, combination-specific complications, and the clinical artistry of orchestrating multiple modalities into comprehensive facial transformation — the expertise that positions physicians as regional authorities in non-surgical rejuvenation.
Perform multi-modality treatments on live patients — integrating barbed PDO threads with strategic HA filler volumization, targeted neurotoxin relaxation, and biostimulator layering. Design and execute comprehensive treatment protocols that produce near-surgical rejuvenation results with minimal downtime.
Study the biomechanical interactions between threads and fillers, the collagen stimulation cascade amplified by combining biostimulators with PDO, and the tissue-level synergies that make combination treatments dramatically more effective than the sum of individual procedures.
Earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits while mastering the elevated safety considerations of multi-modality treatments — timing contraindications, interaction-specific complications, and emergency management protocols unique to combined PDO-injectable procedures.
Combination protocols command $3,000-$8,000+ per treatment session with exceptional margins. Physicians who offer comprehensive multi-modality rejuvenation attract the highest-value patients and build practices generating $300K-$700K+ annually from combination services alone.
Course Highlights
As a physician, combination PDO therapy represents the most advanced non-surgical rejuvenation capability. These highlights demonstrate how multi-modality expertise positions you to deliver transformative results and command premium revenue.
Curriculum Highlights
Master essential techniques and protocols through our comprehensive, CME-accredited curriculum designed for physicians (md/do).
Designed for Physicians
Physicians who add aesthetic, pain management, or functional medicine procedures to their practice see significant revenue increases while improving patient satisfaction and retention. These skills are increasingly essential for maintaining competitive practice viability as patients seek comprehensive, one-stop healthcare solutions. Empire's CME-accredited training ensures you meet the highest standards of clinical education.
Physicians (MDs and DOs) have the broadest scope of practice among healthcare professionals, with full authority to perform aesthetic procedures, pain management interventions, and functional medicine treatments across all 50 states. Whether you are a primary care physician, specialist, or surgeon looking to diversify your service offerings, Empire Medical Training provides the hands-on clinical training and CME certification to add high-demand procedural skills to your practice immediately.
Physicians receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ upon completion. Credits are accepted by all state medical boards for license renewal and MOC requirements.

Licensed healthcare professionals, including MDs, DOs, DMDs, DDS, NPs, PAs, and RNs with prior injectable experience. This is not an introductory course — it is designed for advanced aesthetic practitioners with prior training in aesthetic injections and/or thread procedures.
No. This is a non-CME advanced certification program. Participants receive an Empire Medical Training Certificate of Completion documenting their training in comprehensive face and body-contouring combination therapies.
Yes. Participants will observe live models and perform limited hands-on procedures under supervision. The course format includes pre-course study, live Q&A, demonstrations, and limited hands-on instruction.
It combines every major non-surgical aesthetic modality — injectables, threads, PRP/PRF, and energy devices — into a single integrated curriculum focused on real-world application. Both facial combination protocols and body contouring techniques are covered in one program.
The course covers hyperdilute Sculptra and Radiesse for body skin tightening and lifting, PDO threads for knees, arms, abdomen, buttocks, and decolletage, PRP/PRF combinations for cellulite reduction, and device integration with RF, micro-focused ultrasound, HIFEM, 1064 YAG laser, and IPL technologies.
You will learn to design and price branded aesthetic packages such as the Stem Cell Facial, Age Defiance Makeover, and Platinum Rejuvenation. The course covers strategic pricing, membership programs, and bundled treatment structures with typical patient session pricing ranging from $1,800 to $6,000.
Please refer to your state or regional licensing board. International attendees may participate through observation or anatomical model practice rather than live patient injection.
The course includes a full-color manual, treatment protocols, access to the Physician Portal with forms, consent templates, and marketing materials, pre-course virtual training access, tutorial videos featuring renowned instructors, and all medicines and supplies needed for the hands-on component.
This advanced course is designed for physicians with PDO thread experience and/or injectable competency. You should have foundational understanding of thread placement or neurotoxin/filler injection before attending. The program builds combination expertise on existing procedural skills. Physicians new to PDO threads should consider completing foundational thread training first.
Combination PDO protocols produce dramatically superior results compared to standalone thread lifts. By strategically integrating volumization, muscle relaxation, and collagen stimulation with thread-based lifting, you create comprehensive rejuvenation that addresses structure, volume, texture, and skin quality simultaneously. Many patients report results comparable to surgical procedures but with minimal downtime.
For many patients, particularly those with mild to moderate laxity, combination PDO protocols deliver results that closely approximate surgical outcomes without general anesthesia, incisions, or extended recovery. This makes combination therapy an excellent option for patients who are not surgical candidates, prefer non-invasive approaches, or want to delay surgery. The treatments also complement and extend surgical results when used as maintenance therapy.
While physicians have the legal authority to perform many procedures, hands-on training under expert supervision dramatically accelerates the learning curve, reduces complication risk, and provides the clinical confidence needed to deliver exceptional patient outcomes from day one. Empire's structured curriculum, live patient practice, and CME accreditation also satisfy credentialing and malpractice insurance requirements that self-study alone cannot fulfill.
Adding procedural services creates new revenue streams that can significantly increase your practice income — aesthetic services alone can add $200K-$500K+ in annual revenue. Beyond finances, offering in-demand procedures improves patient retention, attracts new patient demographics, and positions your practice competitively in a market where patients increasingly expect comprehensive service offerings from their healthcare providers.
Yes. All Empire Medical Training courses for physicians are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. These credits satisfy continuing medical education requirements for state license renewal and specialty board Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs.
