Kybella® is 10% Deoxycholate acid (10mg/1ML) and for patients with moderate fat accumulation under the chin works in as little as two to four treatments typically (30) days apart. However, Kybella® has been proven effective in all Dedo classifications for fat accumulation in the submental region as evidenced by numerous clinical studies and trials associated with the FDA Approval process. The safety factor associated with Kybella® injections is superior to other non-invasive aesthetic treatments available and the very best alternative to surgical solutions that require extensive post-treatment protocols, higher cost, additional complications and possible adverse results.

The training for the Kybella® Certification and Injection Training is presented by Board-Certified physicians who perform these procedures regularly in a successful aesthetic practice. Empire's faculty of physicians will share their own experience and expertise in the procedure so attendees feel completely comfortable performing these new aesthetic options for patients. The morning session consists of didactic presentation of the educational materials and the practical hands-on training will be conducted in the afternoon on live patients. Empire utilizes low teacher to student ratios which enhance the training while giving attendees the opportunity to feel comfortable performing the injections and patient markings under the supervision of Empire faculty.

Attendees will be required to administer Kybella® FDA on live patients as part of the certification process.

Tuition for the training includes all the materials associated with performing the injection through access to Empire's physician portal which includes the instructional videos from Allergan, full-color manual, administrative forms, and additional ancillary information discussed including possible combination therapies and revised protocols (i.e. titration or tapering schedules) to help integrate these procedures. Learn to perform new patient comprehensive evaluation and workup for aesthetic conditions that benefit from Kybella® injection therapies, learn what questions to ask and be able to explain expected results to patient
Explain the effects of aging relating to fat shifting, resorption of bone, excessive and quick weight loss as underlying causes for compartmental fat accumulation under the chin and submental region of the face. Review evidence-based studies related to the procedur
Review pertinent facial anatomy and receive a full understanding relating to mechanism of action and the benefits to patients and physician administering Kybella® Injection Therapy
Understand the various protocols for administering Kybella® safely and effectively for patients portraying various aesthetic conditions of departmentalized or herniated fat in the submental region of the face. Review all absolute and relative contraindications for treatment including condition-specific medical conditions that would exclude them for the procedur

Hands-On Training:

Unlike other seminars, our programs are not demonstration only. Certainly! For those outside the United States, injections on anatomical models are an option; however, you will not be allowed to inject on a live patient.

Each state has its own regulations concerning live patient injections. Kindly consult your licensing board to determine if you’re permitted to administer injections.

PRE-REQUISITE – Instructional Materials

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best training available including the safety of all participants for the Kybella® Certification & Injection Training Program, Empire Medical Training is requiring all registered attendees to view the video educational videos prior to their attendance. The successful completion of our video-on-demand or virtual training is a requirement to participate in the hands-on element for certification. Empire is also offering a number of other videos such as procedure videos, advanced injection demonstrations, and other educational videos as part of your learning experience. All participants will also receive access to our library of educational materials concerning the Kybella® procedure are also recommended prior to the clinical portion of your training.
