René Shewalter, LE and Owner of AAC by René in Reading, PA, has been in the skincare industry for more than two decades working alongside plastic surgeons for most of her time.

Her expertise, passion for her patient’s well-being, and laser-driven results drew a loyal patient following. In early 2020 when the surgical partners decided to return to a hospital setting, she found herself in a predicament and opportunity to open her own business.

Four months after launching her new business, she credits her passion, commitment, and light-based therapies for extreme clinical and financial success.

Catie is a licensed esthetician/laser technician who has worked in the medical aesthetics industry for more than twelve years. Her experience has touched on every aspect of the industry with a strong focus on laser aesthetics.

Catie worked as a laser technician working with multiple laser modalities and, early in her career, found her true calling in the industry as an instructor for the Institute for Laser Medicine where she taught multiple courses on multiple laser modalities and energy-based devices. She has a master's degree in education from West Chester State University.

Catie has gone on to not just teach in the classroom but to become a clinical trainer for Aerolase traveling nationally to deliver her expertise to a wide range of specialties.
