What Are Revanesse® Versa Costs & Results?

Along with other Revanesse® products, Revanessa Versa dermal filler has FDA approval to treat moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, including nasolabial folds.

It’s a cost-effective alternative to a facelift and similarly invasive cosmetic treatments, which have far higher incidence of complications. Patients have received more than 1 million syringes of Revanesse Versa since the product hit the market with few reports of significant side effects, making it one of the top injectable filler brands available.

Should you join them? Here’s what you need to know about the cost of Revanesse Versa fillers.

What Does Revanesse Versa Cost?

Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler. The typical retail cost of a 1 cc syringe of hyaluronic acid filler is $500 to $625, according to this recent dermal filler treatment pricing sheet. Providers pay between $240 and $350 per syringe, depending on the filler.

Several factors affect what the patient actually pays for dermal filler treatments like Revanesse Versa:

  • Syringe Sizes. Revanesse Versa comes in a slightly larger syringe (1.2 cc) than most other fillers. This results in a higher cost per syringe but fewer syringes used in a typical procedure.
  • Type of Procedure. This is a major cost variable. Certain types of procedures require more filler at a baseline, while others — such as softening smile lines — require less.
  • Volume Needed. This is another major variable. Some patients need more filler than others to achieve similar results. Patients with more severe wrinkles or lines need more filler as well.
  • Duration of Results. Revanesse Versa results typically last six months or longer, but this can vary by patient. The longer the results last, the fewer additional treatments the patient needs.
  • Financing Options. Many medical spas offer low- or no-cost financing options for dermal filler patients. This reduces the upfront cost of the procedure and spreads payments out over a period of six to 18 months.

Revanesse® Versa vs. Botox® — Cost Comparison

Revanesse Versa isn’t the only facial rejuvenation procedure that can treat moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. Patients often compare costs against another popular, temporary, minimally invasive option: Botox.

The retail cost of Botox typically ranges from $12 to $15, depending on the provider and formulation. Many med spas charge a flat fee per treatment area, often $200 to $300 for the first and $100 to $200 for each additional.

That means Botox treatment costs a bit less expensive per procedure than Revanesse Versa. However, Botox results don’t last as long as Revanesse Versa. Patients typically need to return for touch-ups within three to six months of the initial injection. This could make Botox more expensive than Revanesse Versa in the long run.

Revanesse Versa Hidden Costs — Side Effects and Complications

Unlike more invasive cosmetic treatments, Revanesse Versa treatment has few hidden costs. Patients don’t have to pay costs related to anesthesia, postoperative recovery, and follow-up consultations.

Revanesse Versa has a low incidence of potentially costly side effects too. The most common are temporary swelling, soreness, or redness around the injection site.

More serious complications, such as those caused by injection into blood vessels, are rare and often due to provider error — which is why it’s so important to choose a provider who has completed advanced Botox and filler training with an accredited medical education company.
