Comprehensive Facial Aesthetics Training

The Facial Aesthetics Training program is a great training workshop for physicians, nurses, aestheticians, and other health care professionals interested in having a complete armamentarium of treatment options for their aesthetic patients. There are many highly effective, yet simple procedures that are often overlooked in aesthetics in place of the more exciting Botox and Filler procedures, which when learned and added into your practice will afford you a more complete treatment option for your patients. What good is performing a Botox procedure on a patient if the surface of their skin is riddled with hyper pigmentation, acne scars, poor texture, tone, and color.

The course is very complete and detailed with written protocols on all the steps necessary when performing a procedure. There is plenty of hands on training, just be prepared to leave the course with a fresher, cleaner look. Although not required, most attendees request a procedure on themselves or a spouse before adjourning the course.

The Comprehensive Botox Training, Dermal Filler Training and Facial Aesthetics Training programs are scheduled on consecutive days for your convenience and to maximize your training experience to maximize your training experience. Please click on these programs to learn more.

Facial Aesthetics - Microdermabrasion by Lorena Cosentino

Medical grade chemical peels are still considered the “gold standard” among Dermatologists due to the effective and controlled results achieved through these popular procedures.  Chemical peels are an effective treatment for such skin conditions as Solar Lentigos, Age Spots, and other pigmentation of the face, décolleté, and hands.  Our Facial Aesthetics Training will teach you the various protocols associated with the different types of acids as well as instruction in performing microdermabrasion (micropeel). In addition, physicians willlearn about the importance of integrating retail products (cosmeceuticals) into their aesthetic practice as a means of benefiting your patients as well as providing an additional monthly revenue stream.

During the Facial Aesthetic Training program you will learn and understand the various skin classifications (i.e. Fitzpatrick, Burton Scale) and the importance as it relates to these procedures.  Attendees will learn the various protocols associated with AHA-Free Acids, BHA, and caustic acids as well the contraindications and possible complications of performing these medical grade peels.  The various types of microdermabrasion technologies are also discussed as well as the ability to perform microdermabrasion during the hands-on sessions.

cosmetic botox trainingChemical peels and exfoliation treatments remain the most popular of aesthetics treatments as your skin is still the largest organ in the human body and must be maintained.  Learn the difference between “day spa” peels and medical grade chemical peels and learn how these treatments can correct a number of skin disorders (incl. acne) but also rejuvenate the skin and rebuild collagen and density to your skin.  These procedures are sold in packages but the long-term maintenance and rebuilding of collagen creates a long-term commitment to you by your patients.  In many ways it is similar to exercise and diet in that you need to achieve the results and then maintain the benefits earned.

After completing the facial aesthetics training seminar, you will be able to determine which peel or process will best suit your patient. You will also learn about the different classifications of chemical peels, their ingredients, and which peel will best suit each skin type and medical condition.

In addition to this training you will learn how to explain to your patients the difference between medical grade cosmeceuticals and over the counter skin care products.  By adding Cosmeceuticals or a prescription skin care product line to your office your patients will benefit and will help you create a cash basis revenue stream. Many of these “physician only” skin care product lines are only able to be sold in medical offices by medical professionals. Purchasing sources and price structuring techniques consent forms and templates will be a part of every attendees manual as well.

Equivalent to both the Comprehensive Botox and Dermal Filler Training, the Facial Aesthetics Training is not a demonstration only course. Attendees will be required to perform the various peels on actual patients as well as perform medical microdermabrasion procedures. Empire will also provide a written material (protocols CD) that outlines these processes.
