This 1-Day intensive demonstration training workshop will give a comprehensive overview of how this new technology can be utilized for different conditions and at the same time be incorporated into your present array of cosmetic services offered.  This In-Office procedure is available to physicians because unlike Smart Lipo, LaserTight is designed specifically for the treatment of fat eliminating the need for liposuction in many areas of the body while enhancing traditional Liposuction for stubborn areas where liposuction is still necessary (i.e. abdomen area, male breasts).  LaserTight utilizes a different wavelength of light (960) that vaporizes and flumes fat deposits from underneath the skin while minimizing bruising with no recovery time necessary. Similar to Smart Lipo, LaserTight continues to tighten the skin 5-6 weeks after the laser procedure and the intrusion of the procedure to the patient are about the size of a 20 gauge needle.  Benefits of LaserTight technology allow physicians to treat various problem areas of patients and can be used to safely treat areas of the skin that do not shrink after traditional surgery of Liposuction such as the following:

The procedure is less invasive than traditional liposuction only procedures and the resulting skin tightening and no recovery time after this procedure is making it most desirable with patients.  Completion of the course will give the physician knowledge of the pertinent anatomy for surgery around the eyelids and neck.  Laser physics and laser tissue interations will be described in detail.

Knowledge of the requirements for patients to be candidates for procedures will be expanded along with information about whom to exclude for these types of treatments.  Techniques of laser treatments, laser safety, risks and management of patients including potential complications will be reviewed.  Evaluate and determine for yourself if these new laser procedures are right for you.  Physicians attending will learn and need to know the principles of laser-tissue interactions, laser physics, techniques of anesthesia, and pertinent anatomy. Physicians after attending this course will have a full understanding of Laser Liposuction and Laser Skin Tightening.

Unique to LaserTight is the ability to treat lower eyelids, melting the fatty deposits in a short office procedure that requires only local anesthesia and leaves minimal bruising.  The procedures take about 30-45 minutes, features no sutures, and most patients return to normal daily activities within 24 hours.  While results are visible within 48 hours, 4-6 weeks after the procedure patients will continue to see tighter, more contoured skin as the tissues adjust and contract to the new slimmer area of the body.

This program will be limited to small groups of physicians and the procedures and seminar will be held at medical clinics though many of these procedures (without Liposuction) may be done in an office setting using local anesthesia.  The course study, lecturer, and on-hands demonstration will be performed by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons.  The protocols and procedures will be live and performed by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons on live patients.
