The Comprehensive Dermal Fillers Training will, among other things, teach you how to distinguish all of the various types of dermal fillers so that you can make recommendations that are best for the specific needs of your patients.

Plenty of the cosmetic laser training is spent teaching you the proper methods and "Pearls" for injecting Dermal Fillers. Learning to perfect your techniques in Dermal Fillers requires more than just a thorough understanding of how to perform these techniques—it requires an expert to direct you through the process. These "Pearls" pearls of wisdom from our staff are the result of years of experience in aesthetics and providing this information to you is an important part of our Dermal Fillers Training Programs.

Obviously, a huge part of why Dermal fillers are so popular is their massive success rate in providing long lasting cosmetic change. Dermal fillers provide excellent and immediate results for a variety of common facial wrinkles and aging features and, even with the poor economy, are in very high demand with patients.

This dermal filler training workshop has recently been updated to include many more advanced techniques in addition to the basics of installing normal dermal fillers. The procedures taught during our cosmetic laser training include:

• Nasolabial Folds
• Marionette Lines
• Lip Augmentation (portrayal and plumping)
• Tear Trough (eye hollow)
• Other Specialty Injections (i.e. hands, cheeks)………

Our hands-on dermal filler training courses will focus on the art and science of Dermal Fillers, which means you’ll not only learn how to be technically proficient with installing the fillers, but you’ll learn why you’re using the material you’re using, and how to determine using one type of filler over another.

As with many of our other comprehensive courses like the Botox® Training, this will not just be a lecture—Attendees will be required to administer dermal fillers for live patients in order to receive their Certificate of Completion.

Our expert physician staff of board certified plastic surgeons and specialists will work closely with each attendee to help ensure that their skill level performing any such procedures is sufficient before granting certification. Didactic instruction will cover all client expectations, contraindications, techniques and protocols needed, along with any contraindication, potential risks, or possible side effects with the procedure.

Juvederm® & Restylane© Dermal Fillers Workshops and More

Like all of our cosmetic laser training workshops, this is a comprehensive certification program that will provide each attendee with extensive hands-on sessions and live patient training. Our Dermal Filler Training courses will be taught by board certified plastic surgeons and other specialists, which means that you’ll get expert tutelage during the workshops.

The Comprehensive Dermal Filler Courses program will provide you with the ability to use actual product (HA) on live patients. A large percentage of your tuition is used to purchase all the necessary supplies, as well as the dermal filler products so that each attendee will have the ability to use these supplies during the training. You can even bring along a test subject, such as your spouse or office manager, who would like to receive a free dermal filler treatment.

In addition to the training in the procedures, you’ll receive manuals with the procedures and protocols for almost any eventuality during the course of performing these procedures. In addition, we’ll spend time on how you should price these procedures so as to maximize the return of adding dermal fillers to your list of offerings.

AAOPM Exam Information

Your instructor is very detailed oriented and always allows questions and answers throughout the lectures to make sure you are following along in the course study. Exam questions are announced during the morning lectures to help prepare you for your Board Certification (if you are pursuing your Board Certification with the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, A.A.O.P.M.)

Dermal Fillers Training Objectives

Tho roughly understand and become proficient in the following areas:

1. Learn specifically the kinds of wrinkles and aging features that can be improved using the various types of dermal fillers available and injection techniques for correction.
2. Understand the various protocols associated with each of the Dermal Fillers concerning recommended indications, duration, and other tissue augmentation.
3. Acquire the technical skill to perform all the various types of injections.
4. Understand the pros and cons, and when to use each of the different fillers for corrections such as tear trough, cheek augmentation, hands, nasolabial folds, and lips.
5. Learn how to properly and effectively present the various options to your patients. Explain likely results and create expectations.

Note: Empire's Faculty consists of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons and other Specialists. Beware of dermal filler training courses offered by less qualified personnel.

As a leader in providing education and certification, and as part of our commitment to your success, graduates of all Empire Medical Training programs receive ongoing support through instructional videos which are sent to you each week by email. These are professionally taped and edited videos with a large focus on learning the "Pearls" in medicine. We have many of these videos available on our resources section listed above, and, the complete series is sent to all Empire graduates each week.
