We Provide the Most Comprehensive Dermal Filler Training

The dermal filler training workshop is a full one-day course approved by the AMA for 8 hours AMA PRA Category 1 CME™ and 8 contact hours of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The focus of the certification course is strictly on dermal fillers.

Like other Empire workshops, this is a comprehensive, hands-on training program using live patient models with training under the direct supervision of some of the best board-certified aesthetic physician instructors (plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and multi-specialty trained aesthetic specialists) practicing in the U.S. By receiving the highest-level training on FDA-approved HA and non-HA fillers from leading manufacturers that produce products such as Juvéderm® Ultra, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®, Bellafill® and other dermal fillers, participants will gain proficiency necessary to pass the onsite testing and for certification.

The dermal filler market continues to grow every year and is two times greater than botulinum toxin sales worldwide. Because over 94% of the soft dermal filler market consists of hyaluronic acid products (HA), adding these safe, simple-to-perform injection procedures can benefit any health-care professional and their practice. With over 23 years of experience in dermal filler training and a record of successfully graduating over 150,000 medical professionals, you can be assured that our Comprehensive Dermal Filler workshops will give you everything you are looking for in a CME workshop.

In this training program, you will learn the differences between the available dermal fillers so you can select the best ones to incorporate into your private practice. You will learn how to evaluate dermal fillers based on their “G-Prime” and determine the appropriate product choice and placement of an HA dermal filler to match specific patient needs and indications. This workshop provides very intensive didactic material in the morning, with ample time in the afternoon to practice injections on volunteers until you are comfortable with the technique. You will be closely supervised and instructed during this time.

Prerequisite Dermal Filler Training: Workshop registrants can access all prerequisite and preparatory course materials using Empire’s state-of-the art educational portal (mymembersportal.com). The practitioner portal also includes vital information you will need for your practice, such as treatment forms, consent forms, patient intake forms, before/after photos, and much more).

You are required to complete the prerequisite coursework, which includes video, lecture presentations, and didactic materials (full-color manual) prior to attending the live patient practice hands-on training. You may also choose the Empire-Virtual-Training™ and watch the required “live” presentations on your mobile device. Instructors encourage participant engagement through our online “chat “option. Each “virtual” session includes dedicated time for Q and A.

Live patient hands-on practice training is offered through live workshops (see full calendar), Centers of Excellence (see calendar), and custom preceptorships (call to schedule). The Dermal Filler Live patient practice training is conducted in the afternoon. To view our complete AGENDA with course details and start and finish times, click on AGENDA.

The demand for aesthetic procedures is on the rise, and dermal fillers are the second most popular non-surgical aesthetic procedure performed in the United States, with over six million injections performed annually. The reason for the popularity of dermal fillers is the semi-permanent nature of the procedure, which yields instant but long-term results by softening or eliminating folds and wrinkles. The average professional fee or profit to administer the various dermal filler products can range from $350 to over $400 per syringe.
