At Empire Medical Training we create standards for platelet rich plasma (PRP) protocols, preparations and techniques that serve the needs and interests of patients, providing the best outcomes.
We have developed guidelines to assist Physicians and Aestheticians in performing safe therapies, promote patient education, encourage robust clinical research and begin to define the scope and anticipated effects of these procedures.
Platelet Rich Plasma has been used for almost 20 years in dental medicine and is also playing a prominent role in Aesthetics, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, where the procedure is widely used among professional athletes to accelerate the natural healing process after injuries.
In recent years, PRP have been used in the Aesthetic field, as an accelerator of the healing process. Aiding in aesthetic procedures like Laser Resurfacing & Skin Rejuvenation.
Great results have been shown in the Aesthetic aspect such as:
- Crinkling skin around the eyes.
- Cheeks and mid face.
- Neck.
- Jawline.
- Chest and décolletage.
- Back of hands and arms.
- Most body areas.
- Stimulates hair growth on scalp.
Because the goal of PRP therapy is to resolve pain through healing, it could prove to have lasting results. Initial improvement may be seen within a few weeks, gradually increasing as the healing progresses. Research studies and clinical practice have shown PRP therapy to be very effective at relieving pain and returning patients to their normal lives.
The need for surgery can also be greatly reduced by treating injured tissues before the damage progresses and the condition is irreversible.
There is an extensive history in the use of PRP for pain management dating back to 1987 for cardiac surgery. Since then, PRP has also been used by other specialists in dentistry, cosmetics, and burn surgery. PRP has been used over the past ten years in the musculoskeletal field, with publications by orthopedic surgeons—including randomized clinical trials in repairing:
- Tennis elbow.
- Achilles tendon.
- Plantar fasciitis.
- Anterior cruciate ligament.
- Rotator cuff.
- Lower back pain.
Our staff of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons will provide you with the ability to use actual product on live patients for the Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy Training program. A large percentage of your tuition is used to purchase all the necessary supplies, as well as the PRP products so that each attendee will have the ability to use these supplies during the training.

If we prepare the Botox ( 100 units vial) and only 20 units are used; How could I use the remaining Botox for a touch up one week after if the vial is to be used within 4 hours after being reconstituted? if I have to open a new vial it will not be profitable then!
Your comments are highly appreciated
While Allergan officially insists that reconstituted Botox is only good for 4 hours, some years back the company admitted that it can last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator without a loss of effect. However, we still recommend you use it within a day and perhaps achieve this by having dedicated Botox days for all botox patients to get it.
Hello, I am an Adult nurse Practitoner. i interned in a dermatologist office while in graduate school. Unfortunately, he had already hired someone that did not need any training on injectables or laser. I am very interested in cosmetic dermatology. ZI have 2 questions. 1) If I do your training I still would have to find a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to keep teaching me correct? Will any doctor hire a Nurse practitoner with lots of enthusiasm, willingness to learn your classes, but no real prior experience.
2) I would also be interested in being a model. How do i find out about being a model.
Thank You in advance Sincerely jacquelin del Val
Hi Jacquelin, Don’t know about the model thing, but you would definitely not be at a disadvantage for taking a class. You can always extend your education on the job and being trained and certified by Empire Medical Training would certainly make you look like a better fit for any job. Hope that was helpful!
