During the two day training course at Empire Medical, physicians will learn to administer the Tumescent anesthesia, and to effectively and safely perform the procedure itself in your office. The course will cover how to create a surgical suite in your existing office, including the legalities and equipment you will need. Doctors will learn about patient selection and consultation. You will learn how to map the patient's trouble spots before the procedure, and how to perform various liposuction techniques. Possible complications, post-operative care including scarring and compression techniques, and laser treatments for loose skin will also be covered. You will leave with an understanding of how to perform Tumescent Liposuction on patients of both genders, and varied ages and body types.
